Knit as a 250 GSM single jersey from 95% viscose from bamboo and 5% spandex. Our fabric specification requires OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certification, the class written for textiles intended for babies and toddlers under three.
A YKK #3 nylon coil zipper, designed for sleepy midnight changes without waking the whole house.
Sizes 0-3M to 18-24M, every one with a convertible foot and fold-over cuffs — cover the feet and hands for sleep, fold them back once your baby is on the move. The close-to-body fit follows Health Canada's tight-fitting sleepwear guidance.

Wame began with a simple question: why is it so hard to find baby essentials that feel truly considered? Gentle on skin, honest in materials, and beautiful in their simplicity.
We’re building a small collection of things we’d want for our own — unhurried, soft, and made to last beyond the newborn days.
Wame is an Alberta business. Every piece is designed here — the fit, the size grading, the fabric specification and the safety standards we hold it to are all set in Canada, for Canadian homes and Canadian rules. We price in CAD and we are launching in Canada first.

We're launching in Canada first, with CAD pricing. International shipping is something we're considering for later.

Fold-over mitten cuffs
Fold the cuffs over the hands to cover little nails. Fold them back when those hands want to explore.

A fabric tab covers the top of the zip, so the pull never rests against the chin.
